Topman, the stand-alone men's counterpart of Topshop, was created in the UK towards the end of the 1970s to provide a new approach to menswear retailing. Since its creation, Topman has built an international presence, and has been nominated for the Menswear Designer of the Year Award by the British Fashion Council, won Best Fashion Retailer at the Maxim Style Awards in 2005, and Best High Street Retailer at the 2007 FHM Fashion and Grooming Awards.
